Randomness Personified :P

So, it has been almost two months since I have started a new phase in my life. And I am really loving this. Its a random post on what's happening around life. So finally I have lived through 2 months of MBA, which by the way is very big deal. Okay and right know I am in a super frustrated mode that's why here comes my first rant post :p

  • What's wrong with Chandigarh's mausam. I mean every year I use to crib that its raining here but not at my place but this time it is completely opposite!!! Yes Rain Gods have transferred their loyalty to my hometown. And that's what we call cheating :(
  • Why are people(okay girls!!) so overdressed here or am I turning into a grandma??
  • Does MBA only means loads of lectures, projects and endless assignments. Really from last two months I seem to be doing these things only. My social life has gone for a toss() and lets not talk about reading please!!
  • Why do people judge you on every single step you take??? If I don't wanna go party that doesn't mean I am boring, it just means that I don't feel like partying as simple as that!!!
  • I hate getting up in the morning these days and who will not if you are living on just 3 hours sleep every night. And my alarm clock is on the top of my hit list, sigh!!!
  • And still this 3 hour sleep seems luxury to our profs and they keep nazar lagaying to it by saying oh you young folks don't need to sleep more than 2 hours. And that is the case when we attend classes from 8 to 5 and then try to lessen ever increasing burden of assignments till wee hours of mornings. What are we robots??
  • Apart from all these things I have found something that I absolutely love.Punjab University has this huge library filled with loads of literature but sadly I don't get enough time to read nowadays :(

  1. you know what?i din't attend my college freshers party coz the reason is simple,i could not relate myself with maturity or mindsets of my class students.people call me alien and DIFFERENT,i never bothered coz whenever i do things,i do whole-heartedly,i don't like to imitate western culture or half-hearted emotions when my instinct says no.being naturally self is your real personality and it keeps you happy as long as you are what you are.i did follow this principle from my childhood.

after a year, everyone came to know that am too true and they spoke only if there is something really genuine.some left me alone coz they thought am boring and am not like everyone.i never lived to please others or to mingle with people to prove myself.

these days mba has become like designer label.they come with new program or curriculum every year to lure people.most mba programs are just money making labels for institutions.isb comes with new ad every 3 months with 30 lakhs fee,i dunno what its all about.one can become great manager when you are true to yourself and to others.

    2. every evening there is a show on CNN where authors promote their new books on prime time news.few days back, a lady professor from INSEAD who has worked for various multi national corporations came to promote her book.her book was about HOW TO BEHAVE WHEN DEALING WITH DIFFERENT CLIENTS ACROSS GLOBE,she calls her book as dictionary of cultures.so the host started asking her questions though he was not interested ,what its like dealing with chinese, indian, french clients.she started saying, chinese don't like talking too much, indians talk more than essential, japanese like more etiquette and decorum etc etc.i felt ,is there any need for such book, any genuine educated person who maintains originality or doesn't over-react with stable mind can suit all cultures.you will find such funny people more these days who write books to just sell.hmm am not into books coz i find them boring,i like thinking on my own.you may read my comment in below link.
